Adrien Finzi is the owner of Ataraxia Construction in Boston, which renovates entire homes, with a focus on properties with historical or aesthetic value. Originally working for clients, Adrien Finzi began purchasing and renovating properties for the firm in 2023.
Previously, Mr. Finzi was a professor at Boston University, where he published more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific articles and presented research at dozens of international scientific conferences. He organized, and with the help of faculty colleagues, launched a new PhD Program in Biogeoscience at the University. This effort brought together faculty from three different departments to streamline graduate-student training in the fields of biogeochemistry and biogeophsyics. He also obtained millions of dollars in federal grants which supported core University functions throughout his tenure at the University.
Mr. Finzi graduated with a BS in environmental conservation from the University of New Hampshire, which named him a distinguished alumnus in 2011. He also holds a master’s degree in statistics and a doctorate in ecology from the University of Connecticut. Mr. Finzi volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and Team Rubicon, a disaster response organization. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, hiking, and playing the guitar.
